Ignite Your Team Retreat

Info Pack: August 2024

August 23, 2024

11 AM - 3 PM ET

Important Info

In order to participate in our certain sessions, you must update to the latest version of Zoom.

If Zoom goes down…

If Zoom goes down, we will put instructions and the link for the backup platform here.

What to Expect

The virtual retreat experiences will include:

  • Industry-leading guest speakers
  • Training on Behavior Management in the classroom for faculty
  • Training on communication and conflict resolution for admin staff
  • AI Training for both faculty and admin with Q&A

We are committed to delivering next-level training, without the travel, accommodation, babysitting or class-cover costs of an in-person event and can’t wait to have you a part of the magic!

How to Make the Most Out of the Inner Circle Ignite Your Team Virtual Retreat

  • Doors will open 5 minutes prior to the start-times above so you have a chance to log-in, say ‘Hi’ to your Zoom buddies, and settle into your workspace before sessions begin.
  • Put the dates and times in your calendar for the sessions - it is so important for you to purposefully carve the time out for this online event so you can reap the rewards!
  • This event will ONLY work for you if you commit to being present. Clear some space where you won’t be interrupted, if you can. Close the door and turn notifications off.
  • Sort your technology out. We’re going to be working on Zoom, so get online early to make sure you have the latest updates installed, that your internet connection’s good, and your webcam and microphone are both working. We want to SEE and HEAR you 🙂
  • The studio team can all be on one Zoom account and screen together watching the retreat, but we will have 1 - 2 breakout sessions where we ask you to join either the teacher or admin breakout rooms. It is best during this time to be on your own computer or at least with team members that share the same role at your studio.
  • Pack some snacks and have plenty of water at your desk. The day will flow more easily if you sort your food/drinks out the night before. We have an epic lineup, so you don’t want to waste time digging in the pantry. Pack a lunch or have one ready to pop in the microwave. Have fun and play full out! Join the sessions live and ask questions!
  • Make sure to take notes throughout the day so that you can provide feedback in your recap meeting with your studio owners and team members.

Tips to Make the Most of the IC Retreat
  • Don't be intimidated! You are here to learn. Get ready to open your mind to new and ideas for growth!
  • Accept the challenge of change. It can be hard to realize that you need to improve upon your current strategies or practice, but if you are open to rethinking things you will stay on the path to being an expert of your craft.
  • Think carefully about how you phrase your questions so that people can be clear on what you need and how to help.
  • After the retreat, go over your notes and mark things that you can implement successfully right away with a star.  Those are things that have to do with the 2-3 items that you chose to work on.  Everything else goes without a star and can be focused on later.
  • Bring a notebook that you LOVE and add titles to the first few pages –
    • Awesome Ideas
    • Books to Read
    • To Do NOW
