DSOA APP – PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: 12/08/2025
Introduction / Overview
DSOA (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your Personal Information when you use the DSOA App (or visit any associated website), and your choices regarding that information. By using the DSOA App, you agree to the practices described below; if you do not agree, please do not use the App. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect two broad categories of information from you: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.
Personal Information — information by which you may be personally identified, such as your name, email address, phone number, job title, employer, billing/shipping address (if applicable), and any other information you provide when registering, contacting support, subscribing, or using certain App features.
Non-Personal Information — information that does not identify you personally, such as usage data, analytics, anonymized usage patterns, device type, IP address, crash logs, and other technical and aggregated data.
We may collect this information in various ways:
Directly from you, when you provide it (e.g., signing up, filling forms, contacting us, etc.).
From third-party sources, if you link or integrate with external services (e.g., social networks, APIs) or if third-party partners supply data (with your consent).
Automatically, as you use the App — via cookies, analytics tools, log files, pixels, SDKs or similar technologies that track usage, device, and interaction information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including but not limited to:
App Functionality & Service Delivery — to provide, maintain, and customize the core functionalities of DSOA; to enable features, manage your account, authenticate access, deliver content, perform updates and bug fixes, and ensure security.
Analytics, Improvement & Development — to understand usage patterns, diagnose issues, enhance performance, develop new features, and generally improve the App and related services.
Customer Support & Communication — to respond to inquiries or requests, provide support, send important notices (e.g., about updates, security, or policy changes), and communicate with you regarding your account or usage.
Business Operations — for billing, accounting, auditing, compliance, fraud detection/prevention, and other administrative purposes.
Marketing & Advertising (Optional / With Consent) — to send you promotional content, newsletters, offers, or marketing communications, if you opt-in; and to tailor advertising or content to your interests, potentially combining information from your use of the App and your device.
Legal, Safety & Security — to detect or prevent fraud or abuse, protect user data, comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect the rights or safety of the App, its users, or third parties.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
We will retain your Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by law (e.g., accounting, tax, legal compliance). Where possible, we will anonymize or aggregate data for long-term analytics or user-behavior insights.
If you request deletion (or modification) of your data, we will comply — subject to preserving data needed for legitimate business, legal, or compliance reasons (e.g., record-keeping, pending transactions, security investigations).
4. How We Protect Your Information
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse. We require any third-party service providers or vendors to adhere to similar security standards whenever they process your information. However, no system can guarantee 100% security. If you suspect a breach (e.g., compromised credentials), please contact us immediately.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your Personal Information in the following circumstances:
With service providers, vendors, or third-party partners who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing, support, marketing), under confidentiality and data-use restrictions.
With your consent, if you explicitly opt-in to sharing (e.g., integrations with external services, joint promotions, referrals).
For legal reasons — if required to comply with a legal process or governmental request, to enforce agreements, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
In connection with a business transaction — e.g., merger, acquisition, sale, or restructuring of DSOA (or relevant assets).
Aggregate or anonymized data — we may share non-identifiable, aggregated statistics for analytics, research, marketing, or product development.
We do not sell your Personal Information for monetary compensation.
6. Data from Minors
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of 16 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
If you are under the applicable minimum age, please do not provide any information to the App.
7. Third-Party Links & External Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites, services, or integrations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external services. Once you leave the App or choose to connect to a third-party service, their terms and privacy practices will apply.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies / Do-Not-Track
We may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies to collect Non-Personal Information and usage data, to enable App functionality, analytics, and (if opted in) marketing. If your device or browser offers a “Do Not Track” option, note that we do not guarantee honoring DNT signals currently.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data — such as:
the right to access what data we hold about you,
the right to correct or update your data,
the right to request deletion or anonymization,
the right to opt out of marketing or data-sharing,
the right to withdraw consent for certain processing.
If you are or located in a jurisdiction with data-privacy regulation (e.g., GDPR in Europe, or relevant U.S. state laws), you may also have additional rights (data portability, restriction of processing, objection, etc.). To exercise your rights, contact us at: [CONTACT EMAIL / ADDRESS]
10. International Data Transfers
If you, as a user, are located outside the United States (or where DSOA is hosted), your data may be transferred internationally to countries where we or our service-providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We commit to implementing appropriate safeguards to protect your data in accordance with applicable laws.
11. California (and Other U.S. State) Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of a U.S. state that has a consumer data privacy law (e.g., California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah), you may have certain additional rights — such as to request disclosure, deletion, or correction of your personal data, to opt out of “sale” or targeted advertising, or to have designated agents act on your behalf.
We do not sell Personal Information. But if we offer targeted advertising or sharing that qualifies under such laws, you may opt out by contacting us via the contact information below.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Your continued use of DSOA after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. Please revisit this page periodically.
13. Contact Us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us at: [email protected].
