Social media coach and content manager, sophie mckie
Sophie Mckie is a social media strategist, educator, and creative entrepreneur specialising in content that cuts through noise and builds genuine connection.
She is the Social Media Coach and Content Manager for Dance Studio Owners Association, where she supports studio owners around the world in developing clear, sustainable social media systems. In this role, Sophie works directly with dance studios internationally, managing and advising on social media strategy that prioritises clarity, community trust, and long-term growth.
Alongside her client and education work, Sophie is the founder of Milibelle, a dance advocacy and creative brand with over 47,000 followers on Instagram, grown entirely through organic content with no paid advertising. Milibelle’s content has reached audiences globally and has been featured in industry publications for its impact on conversations around inclusivity, culture, and dancer wellbeing.
In addition to building her own brand, Sophie has managed social media for dance studios and creative businesses worldwide. Through this work, she has helped a managed account scale from 100,000 views to over 1 million views in a single month, using strategic content systems rather than trend-chasing or paid reach.
Sophie’s social media expertise is grounded in nearly three decades within the dance industry. She has been a senior teacher at HVT Studio of Performing Arts since 2013 and is regularly employed to teach, choreograph, and deliver workshops throughout Australia. Her experience as an adjudicator further shapes her ability to communicate clearly, give actionable feedback, and understand the realities of studio life.
This blend of deep industry experience and real-world digital results defines Sophie’s approach to social media: human-first, systems-led, and designed to be sustainable.
